Curriculum Vitae:

Matthew holds two B.A. degrees: Anthropology (linguistic, cultural, performance studies foci–Highest Degree Honors) and Ecomusicology (Degree Honors as well as Senior Thesis Honors) from the University of California, Santa Cruz – graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2014.

Matthew also holds a Master of Arts in Socio-Cultural Anthropology from University of California, Santa Barbara – awarded June 2016, in route towards the PhD.

Matthew is currently pursuing a PhD in Socio-Cultural Anthropology at UC Santa Barbara with an additional PHD interdisciplinary emphasis in Environment and Society.

In May 2017 Matthew was honored to receive a UCSB Graduate Student Association Excellence in Teaching Award Nomination.
